Midrange Resources, Inc. specializes in providing products and services for the IBM midrange computers System i, iSeries, AS/400, and S/36.   It is our belief that the System i, iSeries, and AS/400 are the best choices for running business applications.   Even though we prefer to work with IBM midrange computers, we also work with other systems, including PCs running Windows, Linux, or BSD.

Midrange Resources can provide programming/consulting services either on-site, or off-site.   For off-site work, it can either be performed via remote access into the customer's system, or the work can be performed on one of our own AS/400 systems.   On-site work can be performed at the customer's place of business nearly anywhere in the USA or its terrorities.   Midrange Resources' personnel have worked on projects in nearly every state, plus Puerto Rico, with the projects lasting anywhere from a few days to several months.   We have worked on projects ranging from something as simple as changing the print position of a field on a report, to more complex projects like designing and programming complete software systems.   We have experience writing interactive "green screen" applications, batch programs, and even web-based applications using either CGI or Net.Data.

We understand how most businesses operate, having worked for manufacturing, retail, wholesale, health care, transportation, public utilities, etc.   In the event that we have not yet performed work for a particular industry, we are quick to learn.   We also possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles, and auditing skills.   In addition to having worked on regular software applications like accounting, order entry, etc., we have also done a significant amount of work on system utility applications such as porting a fax application written in C to the AS/400, plus writing TCP/IP communications applications, developing our own data replication software, and developing the host side code for LaserVault Backup and also for the LaserVault report archiving product.
In addition to our experience in programming on IBM midrange computers, we also have experience programming on PC platforms for Windows, Linux, and DOS operating systems.

And, for a nominal fee, Midrange Resources can arrange to install it for you at a scheduled time that works best for you. Or, Midrange Resources can provide free instructions to you on how to install the component yourself.
