Midrange Resources, Inc., a Tulsa, Oklahoma based company, is owned and operated by Bryan Hipp.  Bryan has over 20 years experience as an independent computer programmer/consultant specializing in IBM midrange computers.  Bryan had operated under other business names in the past before deciding in October, 2004 to begin operating under the name Midrange Resources, Inc.  This was done in order to reflect the primary focus of working with IBM midrange computer systems, with the belief that the System i, iSeries, and AS/400 are the best choices for running business applications.

In addition to a tremendous amount of experience with IBM midrange computers, Bryan also has considerable experience with all versions of Microsoft Windows and DOS.  Bryan also has a good working knowledge of various Linux distributions, various BSD distributions, AIX, Solaris, UNIX, and a few other lesser known operating systems.

Bryan has a diverse background of experience having worked for customers in manufacturing, retail, wholesale, health care, transportation, public utilities, etc.  Bryan also has several years experience with hardware maintenance and upgrades, as well as OS upgrades and data migration for the System i, iSeries, and AS/400.

Bryan is a Christian who regularly attends First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow.   As a Christian, Bryan strives to conduct business with complete honesty and integrity, and to do his best to complete each project to the customer's satisfaction.

Midrange Resources, Inc. also utilizes the talent of a select group of additional experienced programmers available on a part-time basis if needed. These programmers are people that Bryan has worked with over the years that exhibit a high degree of programming ability. They are not just “warm bodies” such as programmers that are in between jobs at the moment, or recent graduates without experience.
