General Consulting
- Help you determine the most practical
approach to creating and implementing new IT projects.
While we do believe that the System i, iSeries, and
AS/400 are the best choice for running your business
applications, we also recognize that they may not be the
best computer platform for all
projects.
- Interface your IBM midrange computer
system with other computer platforms, or create procedures
to exchange data with other computer
platforms.
- Help you determine what system upgrade
path may be most beneficial or cost effective for
you.
- Help you understand the pros and cons
of modernizing your applications, and help you determine
whether it would be cost effective for you to do
so.
- Help you understand the different
options available to you for creating web-based
applications. We can point out some of the strengths
and weaknesses of different approaches to creating
web-based applications such as Webfacing, CGI, Net.Data,
Websphere, Java, AJAX, and PHP.
Rates
Our current rate is $70 per hour for any computer
related service for most customers.
Rates as low as $50 per hour may be
negotiated for long-term projects.
This rate applies to work performed via remote access to the
customer's system, work performed on Midrange Resources' in
house AS/400 systems and delivered to the customer via save
file, or work performed on-site in the Tulsa, Oklahoma metro
area. Work performed on-site outside of the Tulsa metro
area will have travel expenses billed in addition to the hourly
rate. Long-term projects performed on-site outside of
the Tulsa metro area will have the rate adjusted accordingly to
accommodate the expenses of working on-site in that specific
city.
